Hopkins is a great actor whose talent was totally wasted on this painfully boring, confusing, and torturous film with constant repetitive nonsensical scenes by lesser actors. My mother had advanced dementia and the agony of witnessing someone falling into this irretrievable abyss wasn't portrayed but instead the vapid supporting characters and bad script made it almost impossible to watch until the anti-climatic end. I want my $5.00 rental fee returned! This movie is a total failure of bad directing, disjointed script, and just an endless bore.
