I think if you like drama you would like this show. Honestly the show made me want to keep watching, every episode had something interesting in it. I think the mom's backstory is good and it make sense as to how she acts in the show. The main character was fine in the beginning to me but sometimes she only thinks of herself so I think she would need character development. Sometimes the dialogue comes off as a little cringe sometimes but I think Is because the writer was trying to make it like how teens talk now. And I think all the actors are great. I also like how they used actual real life problems. They showed how racism is in the world. They showed how people deal with their problems( not in the ideal way but the way some people think is best). There is diversity. I love how they put they showed the deaf community. And they talked about race and what some people think of each other. The whole Taylor situation was blown out of proportion to me. It was just supposed to be a joke. So many people used that joke in other shows and movies. I don't know why people are getting so upset and trying to cance this show over a joke. Bu overall I would give it a 7.5. The plot is good, the actors are great and of course we just need some character development just like in any other show or movie.
