I just read this book for the second time and both times it took less than 3 days to get through. It's hard to simplify the book as a memoir because it contains both history and combat but mostly it's a wonderful perspective as it accounts for both sides of the chaos and struggle for peace. In a world that seems to be somehow confused about right and wrong, this i is a great crash course on the middle eastern conflict.
