It was absolutely spectacular. Halle was born to play this role - her performance was truly moving. The way it was filmed was how I wish all live actions had been filmed...frame for frame so many of the iconic moments from the cartoon version. It was absolutely beautiful and brought depth to the story. As someone who watched this film no less than a thousand times as a child, it truly brought me back to the nostalgia and wonderment of this incredible story. And just like when I was a little girl, I wanted to be just like Ariel once more. 🥹
