Telugu film industry has been stuck with the same junk that passes off as commercial movies or musicals since my childhood. Sometimes there are movies that are pure sparks of brilliance but sadly they come and go. The world merely is not ready for them. Always wondered why telugu movies were not innovative/thought provoking like the ones made in tamil and Malayalam. I found this gem of a movie on Sony Liv and my faith in the art of filmmaking has been restored. Give budding filmmakers a chance , a window to stay true to themselves and you have a revolution, which can change the tide. Aakashavaani is nothing but a rendition of the divine art of filmmaking. An ode to past filmmakers who believed, there was a story to tell. Not a calculation of what it takes to make money.A get in and get out if you will. Most importantly seeing the unknown faces of people acting in such a unique concept made me ecstatic. Best wishes to the team who made the movie.Yes there will always be audiences who need the movies to be meaningful. thanks for your efforts in keeping the industry sane.
