I like the premise of the movie, but beyond that this movie was grotesque and disturbing. The acting was only so so. The end reminded me of the movie Carrie with all the blood being slung around. It almost turned comical at the end of this movie with the ridiculousness that the ending provided.
All in all, The Substance was not very good movie, unless you like gross, disturbing, splashed with a little nudity.
