To sum it up in one sentence:Malayalam movie truly went international. A movie purely to be enjoyed in big screen( you will regret if you wait for OTT). No spoilers or preaching, just go enjoy the coming of age of Malayalam cinema and thanks L2E team for that. It’s easy to play it safe, it takes men with steel to attempt something this big. Bravo Prithviraj❤️

I will give it 7/10 Malayalam film industry should be proud that we attempted a film of this scale and I appreciate all those involved in the making of this film for doing that. Like every movie it has its own flaws. Visuals are top notch, I won't go overboard and compare it to a Hollywood movie, but definitely one of the best Indian movies ever made technically. Songs are beautiful. Story could have been better, but it's not a fantasy movie like Bahubali, and there is a limit to the amount of liberties one could take with this story. They tried to base it in a love story, imagine if it was religious based, then we will kick up and entirely different storm. Criticizing is the easiest thing to do,appreciating the effort takes dignity(most people lack it)Those who want to go viral in social media will keep on making clips and trolls, you can chose to forward it,it's your freedom. Those who love movie should watch it in theatre and decide for yourself....

One of the best, if not the best Malayalam movies ever made. Beautiful mixture of love,humour and deep emotions. Superlative acting from all the actors. There is absolutely nothing to fault the movie. A solid 9.5/10

NB:For those who blindly follow reviews i remind you about the review for Pulimurugan by The Hindu...It said "a Mammoth disappointment"and that movie became highest grossing malayalam movie. Watched odiyan...First and foremost it doesn't deserve the negative reviews that are going around.Sure it is a little bit slow but it's definitely worth a watch. I really can't understand all the negative reviews and one star reviews.I know these news portals giving better reviews for movies far far worse. The director have overhyped the movie for sure,but it's sure not bad as the reviews. It has a better storyline than Pulimurugan and is more suited to family audience. For me its 3/5 Thanks
