If you've just picked up this book, put it down until you've read the first three in order. The series is 100% engaging as each character's personality, quirks, flaws and capabilities unfold. Being of a certain age it is easy to identify with their situations and Richard Osman''s observations. I laughed out loud all the way through. But with this one I cried too - real tears. Initially I nearly rejected the first book as The Thursday Murder Club breaks the mould to the extent that, in some ways, it is surprising it ever got published. Thank goodness it did. Looking forward to more!!
