Ellie is not a easy character to play you have to portray multiple emotion throughout the series, and bella unfortunately could't do it. It was still pretty good in season 1 but the complex nature of the character was not seen in this season. Upon that the show is high paced which makes it even worse. Directors and showrunners did a pretty sloppy job in some dialogues. As a fan of the game it was pretty sad to see this turn out this bad.
