This is the Bud Light of movies, and just as dumb and offensive in its execution. Coming on the heels of Shyamalan's previous oinker, 2021's "Old," this movie would have been better named "Wokie at the Cabin," as it tries desperately hard to please all the snowflakes in its niche lgbtq+ demographic, while just annoying everyone else. Although Dave Bautista's performance was truly great, and the only real performance in the movie worth watching, he's not able to carry the entire movie by himself. The movie's plot was weak, the "special effects" even weaker, and the "suspense" that was supposed to inhabit virtually every scene was mostly absent, and ploddingly slow when rarely present, so much so that you easily know who is going to die and in what order 15 minutes before it happens. While not nearly as bad of a stinker as "After Earth," no one will ever confuse this movie with "The Sixth Sense."
