Shame on Gayle King who appeared on The Talk today. It's so frustrating that our news media chooses to report on how they feel vs. actual facts and I'm speaking specifically of George Floyd's story & Gayle's reporting of it. What happened to George Floyd is a shame and personally I couldn't be more pleased that the police officers are being charged in his death. However, please report the truth!! There were 2 autopsies because George Floyd's attorney/family wanted an independent autopsy not because they couldn't believe the information provided by the county coroner. There's no special narrative there although she used one to sensationalize it. Also, he DID have underlying health conditions and drugs WERE in his system which COULD have been contributing factors in his death. They did not directly cause his death (the knee on his neck did-according to both autopsies) but those other conditions may have also contributed. Please stop reporting your opinions. I live in the city where George Floyd was killed and it was so sad & scary for weeks now watching our city being burnt to the ground, the endless protests, looting by criminals & having extremely dangerous conditions for citizens. No one was safe. The sensationalizing of his death, autopsies, protests, looting need to stop. We need change not lip service.
