I didn't know the full history behind the Disabilities Laws. Yes, I assumed there were people behind the making of legislation, but didn't know the grassroots efforts by disabled Americans was what spured it on. I was a teen when this was happening, looking back now it was at the time these laws were changing that my schools became inclusive to disabled students. This was such a mirror of other social reforms. Highly recommend.
