Beautiful story and well acted. As a Korean American who spent time in Korea for the first time as an adult, meeting family and connecting with a culture I knew only through my parents' stories, I related to the grief of what is left behind. Awkwafina conveys that in a believable, accessible way. Grateful to see an Asian American film that captures the reality of this experience in a way that is authentic and universal.
