I totally loved this movie; a smart, sophisticated, and beautiful dystopian sci-fi film, with an wide depth of actors bringing excellent acting to a well written story buried in a wonderfully realised world. And action sequences to die for!

Beautifully shot, brilliantly acted and directed, really a delight to watch.

Really enjoyed it. Go in expecting violence, gore, and cheesy dialogue, and you'll have a great time; the fantastic and varied monster special effects, quick pace, and a well chosen cast made it a perfect movie for my collection, but it won't be for everyone. Have not read the comics so review is as a stand alone movie.
