CBS - Director of Golf, I am writing to express my frustration with the CBS Golf announcers that covered the Farmer's Insurance Open, specifically Jim Nance. (All the others appear to be puppets, especially Nick Faldo). Don't you think Patrick Reed deserves to be treated fairly? It appear you want to destroy this guy? Why? The incident on Saturday was judged to be in accordance with the rules of golf, yet Mr. Nance couldn't let it go, and the others followed his take. I watched with bitter contempt how Nance acted as thought Patrick had committed some kind of mortal sin. Mr. Nance did offer a few faint praises as Patrick was about to win the golf tournament but the body language told a whole different story. Mr. Nance, to borrow a phrase from the Senator McCarthy hearing of the 50's "Do you have no sense of decency, sir." You owe Patrick Reed an apology and it should be made on the air. Why, why, why did you keep bringing it up? The whole broadcast team appeared to preach from their golden thrones and they came across as elitist. I know I will never watch CBS Golf again unless Patrick Reed is playing. I think Mr. Nance should be removed from broadcasting golf. Just my opinion, for your consideration. Sincere feedback.
