People always gotta hate on this for little to no reason. Sometimes it’s valid like with franchise or the bugs, but this time it’s just stupid. This is easily the best Madden in years. Given it’s not perfect and it’s certainly not as good as the early 2000s Madden games but it’s a strong return to glory. The animations and tackling is the best in years. Superstar Mode actually made its return and it’s pretty in depth. No way near MyCareer for sure but it’s miles better than Face of the Franchise. The training and drills you can do in different teams is very fun and reminiscent of the old Madden games. I feel like people should give this an actual try cause even as a hardcore Madden player who’s been through ups and downs with the games, this is the best it has been in close to a decade.

I still remember this game fondly as the worst Madden I've ever played. I’ve played every edition of Madden since ’16 and although every game has problems especially Madden, ’19 was almost virtually unplayable nor was it enjoyable. The poor pass mechanics seriously held it back and you think you have a guy open down the field when an AI defender jumps 20 feet in the air to pick it. The running animations were also clunky and robotic and really needed work. I never raged more when playing Madden than with this game. It was horrendous. Thank goodness Madden 20 at least fixed most of these problems.
