Moom Star

Produced by Jordan Peele, yes, but not written or directed by him and unfortunately it shows. Went for the social commentary, the classic 'Peele' twist, and the subversive tropes. Left feeling confused, disappointed and a bit naffed off. No spoilers here, what I would say is there are too many themes and not enough exploitation. There's high tension, but no satisfying resolution. It all feels a bit confused - lots to say but unsure what it wants to focus on. Don't go out of your way to view this film, it isn't a Peele future classic.
