One liner: As I am a marvel, dc and superhero movies lover, I kinda liked this film. It's a must watch for VFXs used in the film and for the concept but not otherwise. Detailed: Brahmastra is an outstanding in terms of using VFXs in hindi films. This is a desi superhero movie version based on hidnu mythology a bit. If you are a non marvel or a non superhero movie audience, you will not like this film that much.So for that matter, at the end one will say that it's an average film., Whereas its not. In fact, as a superhero, mcu, dceu lover, I would like these kind of films in bollwood., only if they have less typical bollywood touch, screenplay, lovestory etc. We should support, encourage such sci-fi movies in India. VFXs used in this film are next level and are best in any bollywood film till date. They are mind blowing. It feels like as if we are watching any hollywood or marvel or dc movie. Films background music is awesome. It's plot, concept is very fresh. As it is alrady declared, announced that it will be a triology., I am excited to watch its upcoming two parts. Films storyline, narrative or screenplay would have been little tight if some songs would not have been included in the film., because film becomes slow and we kinda tend to loose interest in between due to them. Acting wise Amitabh, Mouni Roy and others like Shahrukh, Nagarjuna are pretty good. Shahrukh's cameo (spoiler alert) at the start of the film as a Mohan bhargava aka scientist sets the bar of the film for rest of the part. Ranbir, Alia are okay not excellent. Drawbacks of the film are its childish dialogues, love story and some irrelevent songs. The only song in which (again spoiler alert) Ranbir is shown getting known and used to his fire powers feels relevent and visually beautiful. All in all film is a visual treat and one should really appreciate and watch this film for its visual effects and which can only be experienced on a big screen and nothing less.
