Felt very rushed and very defficient from the books. For a big budget movie, they crammed a 10 episode series into an hour and 30 minutes, leaving no character development or connection to the characters. Visually stunning but the franchise definitely needed way more time to progress. I only read the 1st book years ago, so finally being able to see a live action adaptation was great....for maybe 15 minutes of the movie. It all felt too rushed. Should have been a series.
