The plot is confusing and boring, and John David Washington is a really bad actor. Wooden, emotionless, expressionless. Zero charisma. I didn't care about his character at all. I can clearly see why he was cast. Robert Pattinson is much better. Kat's character is also very bland. The whole movie pretends to be something special but is executed poorly with a bad lead actor.
