Awesome movie 🎥🍿 Now THAT my friends, is a great way to take down Russian Ops! Just sad Cait Balfe's character had what happened to her!

Ehhhh. The plot & settings are quite picturesque. The London locations are gorgeous! Now I'm just starting this series. Watched Season 1 Ep 1. I'm hoping it improves as I get further into it. I see Aidan Turner joined Season 3! LOVE him! Lol Can't wait to see how that one unfolds... Keri Russell's hair is bothering & distracting me. She looks like a bad case of greasy bedhead, in this first episode. There's a moment where it's all silky smooth (fresh blowout?) about 40 minutes in, then next frame goes right back to messy greasy bedhead ... The bun, at the end, was nice. When they took the carriage ride. I dunno did the stylist use a bit of texturizer or spray wax on it? I'm honestly curious. I think there's a tad much product in there. Like I said, I hope this show improves as it gets further in. I've heard /read some great things about it. Watched a few YT Shorts as well! For a long time haven't had Netflix & just got it back, so here goes! 🎥🎬🎞️🍿

Action scenes are cool, but somewhat unrealistic & far fetched. Her character remains flawless in fight scenes (no wrecked hair, makeup, barely any blood or obvious pain, when wounded), while her opponents are all bloodied up & beaten & slashed up or shot. There's a scene where an assailant slashes her back with an axe blade. Her clothes are cut. She, is not. She grenades a dude behind a door, kills him. She, remains unharmed. Grenades a guy on other side of table. He gets decimated, blown to pieces!! The table, & her, remain intact. The wooden door in the hunt shop backroom is shot at, with no bullet holes. So there's a tad bit of inconsistency here, guys. But yeah, pretty awesome to be trained to avenge her dad's demise.

Excellently acted, written & directed! Bravo! Tony Scott has done a bang-up job with this flick!! RIP Scott It's interesting to see, how the sitch in Beirut was so similar as to what Palestine is, today 🙏🇯🇴 The women, children & families all wounded or killed in the poorest villages, struck a nerve, for me.

History has a funny way of repeating itself... The things going on in media in 2004 during the Bush Administrations, & the things happening today, with the current one... WOW the parallels, are just uncanny!! Are they trying to say, that George W. was also a draft dodger!? I don't remember seeing or hearing reports of that, back then... interesting!

Watching this almost 20 years from release, & 24 years after the actual event. Amazing back then, a good-sized chunk of the castmates who represented NYPD, were Latino. Here we are decades later, would our government let this fly, today!? Sadly, tragically, not so much 💔😭 These heroes went into the WTC towers - WITH A PURPOSE TO SAVE LIVES. PERIOD. Some, never returned! Just days ago, late August 2025, some firefighters - including a batch of Latinos - were out West battling yet another wildfire blaze. And ICE came & kidnapped over HALF the crew members!! Think about this.... our Nation has gone & flipped UPSIDE DOWN 🫣 RIP to the many heroic souls who lost their lives saving citizens, in Sept 2001🙏🇺🇸🗽🧑‍🚒👷👮🫂🌹🕯️🕊️

Certainly glam talented actors. Not the 1st thing they've worked together in. Adequate setting. A Northern town in Wintertime. Plot? Meh, quite lackluster. Not much violence, or that of any thrill. Plot sequences seem rather disconnected throughout the movie. Immigrant family buys a trucking outfit that hauls oil around the city. They keep getting trucks & oil stolen by thugs. They struggle to make ends meet, then they buy an enormous house! Annnnnd days later it almost gets robbed. They've got police & the D.A.on their haunches & making false charges on them. They go into severe debt & are given a month, to pay it all back. They ask for extensions to get the rest of the funds, & while chasing down the thugs & attempts to secure their drivers, barely recover everything in time. Then tragedy strikes. The end.

Meh but terribly unrealistic plot. Actors are all okay. The gal who played his wife, I recognize her from the 1st 'Die Hard'. I had read the book as a teen many years ago. A fella my Mom had been seeing at the time, had a copy & loaned it to her. The protagonist got very descriptive, about the affair. So this movie plot had been missing quite a large chunk, of information! That's possibly due to being condensed in the script. I don't remember anything about a "B" file & I think in the book, it's the man's boss who offs the victim, not the man's wife... My main gripe is, that when someone is tried for murder, they don't let the person on trial, stay home with their family. If you're accused of a capital crime, you're in LOCKUP. PERIOD. No luxuries & no staying home with your spouse or kids... As you're behind bars. Before, during & if found guilty, after the trial. If found not guilty, they let you go.

Sooooo... 1991 version of 'Twin Peaks' but for this generation? Gotcha Btw, David Lynch's series (seen in my teens) was one of the creepiest crime series I had ever seen back then, made for a national network. He was quite a forward thinker & creator! I'll get into this - but it may give me nightmares, be advised.
