As a huge Bond fan, I went in with low expectations considering Spectre was a letdown & you guys rated this as one of the worst Bond films on here. And after watching it, I have to tell ya——while its definitely not the best Bond ever, how THE HECK are people on here rating this as one of the worst Bond films? This is coming from a Bond fan who only really likes half of them If people disliked this film because of the ending or because the villain wasnt as good as expected from an Oscar winning actor, I can see where they are coming from. Then again—-the Blofeld actor is also an Oscar winner & he wasnt any better in the previous Bond film. So why is that film rated so much higher than this one? Regarding the ending, it took me awhile to get over because it was so unexpected from the “superhero like” Bond character. But upon further review, given what happened when Bond was on the villains base & because it was Craigs final Bond film, it makes a lot of sense now. But i SURE HOPE people didnt automatically give this film a 1 just because a black woman was assigned 007 after Bond left. There was a whole controversy about that leading up to this films release and it (unfortunately) stopped more than a few Bond fans from even attempting to watch it. Dont get me wrong. Im not close to being a fan of that leftist stuff Hollywood has been trying to shove down our throats recently BUT that wasnt going to stop me from watching this film at least once. I mean yes the PC stuff was a pain sometimes in this film and maybe it lowered my rating a little BUT its not like that PC stuff completely ruined this movie like say the Ghostbusters film from 2016. So if you are hesitant to watch this film because of its Political Correctness youve heard about, please dont be. Its not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be. But yes, this film has everything else you want in a Bond film. Action, adventure, great looking women, and while the plot wasnt Oscar worthy, it wasnt as bad as some people were saying. I mean its a Bond film people. So yeah I would rank this Bond film in the top half overall. In terms of Craigs Bonds, I would put this one 3rd. Not close to Casino Royale or Skyfall but definitely better than Spectre or Quantum
