In short, I agree with the negative reviews here.
Terrible script!
Unrealistic scenarios!
Terrible research!
A slight to the viewer's common sense and basic intelligence.
An oxymoron I know but even for fiction, you need to keep a sense of 'correctness' and to a point 'factual'.
The fact that the series can't even get something as basic as the Royal Military Police cap badge correct is baffling! Instead the cap badge that we see on an unshaven RMP NCO is that of the 14th/20th King's Hussars .
The series is not in touch with the real life implications of pulling someone's shorts down to expose the coachs' genitals to a bunch of teenage girls. It would have serious criminal implications in this day and age.
Are we also to believe that the UK's ex-military horde weapons like that of our US counterparts? Why the hell would Maya have so many legally owned rifles in her home when she has been booted out of the Army for unlawfully killing civilians in Afghanistan??? Seriously...where is the research?
Yeah, I'm sorry but the list of things that are wrong with this series, script and research just go on and on. This was a damned awful series.
Am surprised Joanna Lumley and Adeel Akhtar even signed up for it.
