The game is definitely a step up towards what I feel is the right direction. There has been mobile games made (illegally) by other people which were better than the games Nintendo could come up with. Now I can't say this. There has been a lot of improvements and although I haven't played through the whole game yet, there is only 2 drawbacks I have noticed. The first being the difficulty, it is just too easy to win battles and get strong Pokemon. They need to come up with something new in order to make the game more challenging. Although the alphas are hard to win at times. I have noticed a level 2 enemy was standing up to my lvl 13 and doing 30% of my hp in 1 hit. And although that part is good for making it harder, it doesn't really make sense either. The game should have level scaling and change its leveling completely. The second thing is the dungeons. Used to love the dungeons. It was an integral part of the games. Now it's basic at best. I do enjoy the enemies attacking you now and possibly facing groups of enemies. Drawback to that is that some Pokemon spot you, almost no matter what you do. Catching or fighting Pokemon has never been so good. They should let us have Pokemon following us though, and although some say it'd mess with battles.it wouldn't if u had to click the throw button on the Pokemon that was out in order for battle to be initiated. Problem solved. Obviously I know more will come as they design more Pokemon, advance graphics and hopefully listen and take into consideration, us who have been long time players and know what we would love to have and see. Empty areas for days doesn't make things as fun but I think this will be filled by more Pokemon in the future and maybe even more random enemy encounters which I haven't ran into at all in this game. It's be cool to see enemies like TR attacking a horde of Pokemon and you have to run over and initiate a fight to help. And even Pokemon attacks to stop by force or capture. It'd even be cool to see one of our own Pokemon get taken and have to fight to get it back. Just a few of many ideas to go with for sure.
