Kathryn Scade

(Spoilers) This book intrigued me SO much in the beginning, but by the middle of the book I started to get annoyed. I HATE when books and movies string you along and then bam, the main character is just crazy all along and all her conversations, memories and moments during the book either didn’t really happen or weren’t what they seemed. I like to know that what I’m reading is actually happening to the person, not wondering “is this really happening or is she hallucinating” for chapter after chapter. I feel like it’s lazy writing and just waste of my time. The ending was ridiculous. I wish the writer would have hashed out the story that she started with, the “secret polygamy” storyline was interesting and different, and then finding a way for Thursday to reclaim her independence and her life. Oh well.
