This album is a little disappointment. After getting some of the g8 teenage album like sour we would like expect Olivia to try something new but still she is talking abt her ex boyfriends in most of the songs like what she did in the sour album. And another major flaw in the album is that the beats are overpowered. In songs like ballads of a homeschooled girls, all-american b's, bad idea right the the beats just overpowers her voice i was barely able to hear the lyrics, my ears literally started to bleed.
Eventhough this album has a lot of flaws and misses the songs like making the bed, pretty isn't pretty saved the album from getting its place in the trash. The lyrics of these songs were so deep and it is probably the only songs in this album where the the production wasn't overpowered. I would have loved this album if she had many songs like these two songs where she talks about her insecurities and problems she faces being a celebrity at such a young age of 20 but she rather talked abt the her ex boyfriends and how badly they treated her.
This album ain't a complete disappointment but knowing that she is a very talented lyricist i expected more from her but she didn't meet my expectations. I very much love Olivia but i think this ain't her best stuff she could have did it way more better. But anw that was a g8 job from Olivia. Kudos to Olivia
