I don't detest the movie, but I also don't love it, as other people have mentioned in their reviews; the trailer had all this excitement and it seemed like she was going on this adventure to save the magic, but all she did was go to Bruno's room and that was it. I honestly don't get how this movie has so many fans and how some of the fans are obsessed with certain of the characters in this movie when you barely hear any of them talk. And the "adventures" that I saw in the teaser were merely Luisa singing her song "Pressure" (I believe).. (I believe that's what it's called.) I believe that if this movie didn't include the songs, it would be rated lower because some people adore the movie because of the catchy songs.
As I have stated, the song is what keeps this film alive.
I also despise the fact that Encanto is replacing Frozen just because of its music. Even though Encanto is at the top, frozen is clearly superior due to the amount of money it has in comparison to Encanto. I am a core Frozen fan and no movie can come and change that.
As long as the money is flowing in, Disney will do anything.
I'm just waiting for a sequel to the movie Encanto since so many fans will be disappointed with the garbage they release. Most notably, if the sequel lacks more compelling songs or if the film itself is not as good, the franchise will suffer.
