When the TV show was first mentioned, I was super excited, especially when Anne Rice said she wanted to make the show true to the series. What a disappointment to finally sit down and watch it just to find it's just as bad of a monstrosity as the two movies are. Plot lines have been changed, character facts have been changed, and since when do Anne Rice's young vampires walk in the sun? Why is Lestat showing powers that he didn't get until his time with Akash which was AFTER he turned Louis? This is so far from true to the series that it's absolutely sad! Two stars only because I can enjoy it so long as I completely ignore the fact that it's supposedly based off a book series I absolutely adore.
