I saw the first episode. I think that is a great positive rewarding outlook. The warden is attempting to give them back some independence. I feel that yes, they are inmates, but they still deserve compassion and independence, if they can follow rules in jail. I read that the county came down on him and made him return the check that he received from Netflix, I would've suggested that that go into the inmate's commissary and to the programs that are given to the inmate. I find it very disheartening that he received so much backlash. Yes, it was an experiment, but it was an experiment to benefit the inmates.
