As a Minecraft player since my secondary school time, I find this movie very bad. Knowing Jack played Minecraft with Pewdiepie, i kinda disappointed the movie not naming the tamed wolf Sven (though it may be not necessary). I think the mechanic in this movie is very off-minecraft original game, even doesn't really make sense with mods. The storyline of these movies with each characters is not really interesting at all, so boring and not relevant. It feels like everyone just somehow got together randomly. I am disappointed that only steve wears the diamond, without any enchantment, or even netherite. You got the elytra, why no any shelker box? Where is the ender dragon? It could have been the ender dragon fighting the enemies instead of weird derived iron golem. In conclusion, I just wasted my 20Ringgit for this movie, and i was excited because of Jack Black starring this movie. Smh I rather play Minecraft story mode, the plot is so much better than this.
