The critics down playing this movie are trying to make this movie something it isn’t. This is a made for entertainment movie with an insight into the values and trials faced by a particular family from the hills. This is not a documentary where everything has to be exactly factual of all hill people. I found this movie to be very entertaining and a joy to watch. Kudos to Ron Howard for a job well done.
