I was excited for this because I loved watching cheesy romcoms. There is no chemistry at all. I get why Charlie would fall for Kat but he doesn't seem to offer that much, not even a nice sense of humor. Or the usual romcom where highly a highly successful woman falls for a simple countryside farmer because he makes her happy and gives her peace and calm. He's just ... there. There was never a moment where I feel that Kat was falling in love with him or something special was happening. I was waiting for that "moment" but it never came 😄

A lot of people don't seem to realize how hard it is for a lot of SA victims to come out and defend themselves. This movie shows it perfectly, and yet a lot of those who wrote negative reviews say it's her fault, she's a coward, this is a woke film, or "the boys got what they deserved anyway." A lot of victims go silent for these very reasons. Such a powerful movie.

If you're the type who likes gunfight and action with no real story then this movie is for you. It's like watching call of duty on twitch. The plot could be summarized in just one sentence. It's just a chase scene then they won in the end.. I think, because I stopped watching.

I'd be giving this show 5 stars because I enjoyed it. But as with other k-dramas, I can only count the ones that have a decent ending LOL. I don't mind if it is sad or happy, the ending of kdramas always seems rushed and anti-climactic. We didn't know what happened to chang-soeng after leaving the hotel.. did he move on with someone else in new york or he ended up alone. I feel that they should have ended it showing a few seconds of their next life, even just a momentary glance while walking down the streets. That one scene when they were kids in the past was also hanging, like did they end up spending a lot of time together as kids or was that just a few moments. Where did she go from sitting beside that wagon and how did she end up living with her other friend yeun. All the other characters from Mi-ra to the hotel employees have a satisfying ending (even yu-na and hyun joong). The lead characters, I can't decide if i should be happy or sad. Either will do, but the story is just left hanging. The last scene is also just from the guy's imagination so it doesn't count. As usual kdramas end with lots of artistic shots and dramatic songs with not much story to wrap up the show. Such a disappointment for a very good storyline.
