Terribly politically biased. The priority of Director Ciaran Donnelly seems to have been to create a pro-Irish Catholic propaganda piece about the Northern Ireland conflict. Unfortunately there are hundreds of propaganda books, plays and films by Irish Catholics like Mr Donnelly. The British (Scots-Irish) Protestants have never really engaged in similar tactics. They’re outnumbered 6 to 1 on the island of Ireland and their art has always been more international looking. You’ll never find a film about how badly the Protestants were treated in Ireland, or about the terror the IRA inflicted on civilians and police. There’s never any films from the pro-British unionist perspective. Sad imbalance.
