I understand why some people don't like this show. To some people, it sounds like a show about a guy who complained about the abundance of opportunities that he didn't want, comparing his life to those who ACTUALLY struggle. He even goes as far as to say that the NFL is similar to slavery. Ah yes, slaves were paid multi-million dollar contracts. But I think that this show is good to show black people that they should love themselves (although he may have gone about it in a twisted way). I did like some messages... but not all. Black is beautiful, there is no need to make a show about things that are already known, black people need to know their self-worth and I think this show does a good job at explaining that.
