The critical acclaim for this superb film is justly deserved, given it’s true and harrowing story.
Just some minor criticism though. Basic errors which I’m surprised got past Clint Eastwood and his military adviser, indeed, the same ‘artistic license’ often seen in other military dramas. Under no circumstances do military personnel take personal mobile phones into combat, make or receive such calls in contact situations! Ridiculous! Also, a loaded weapon is never propped up vertically against a flat wall. If it fell, it could be discharged accidentally, disclosing a concealed location or causing a friendly fatality. Also beards and unshaven male soldiers - not sure this is allowed in US Forces!
Notwithstanding, a very sobering watch and highly recommended.
