I hadn’t followed Robbie Williams closely, but I’d heard his songs from time to time. After watching Better Man, I was genuinely moved. The way the film portrays Robbie at times as a monkey trying to express raw emotions was such a unique and powerful artistic choice. It captured a full spectrum of feelings: anger, joy, excitement, anxiety… all blending together in a truly human way.
The script was brilliant, and while I’m not sure how closely it mirrors his real life, it gave a deep and emotional insight into the highs and lows of fame. It really drives home how difficult it is to handle success and how much harder it is to stay in control of it.
I highly recommend Better Man to anyone who’s interested in exploring the deeper, more vulnerable side of a public figure’s life. It’s not just a biopic it’s a reminder that behind all the fame, there’s still a person trying to make sense of it all.
