Netflix managed to pick up the very visceral and intense feeling that came with the original Luther series. Having a good mix of old characters and new helped to shepared this story along, with John obviously in the centre. Idris Elba was once more stunning as the very broken detective who seems to only pull himself together when he has a villain worthy of him, and Andy Serkis played that part brilliantly. I would have loved to see this as a series, simply for more of the amazing acting and storyline, but it worked so well as a film. Lets hope this is the start of something amazing.

This was so much fun to watch, the effects were brilliant and I loved the characters!

While far from the worst film I have ever seen, it is also far from the best. The plot is basic, the characters make some stupid decisions, and the script wasn't great. But I would say the acting was solid and it should not take away from the work the actors put in. Overall though, I enjoyed it, it was exactly what it said on the tin.

I loved this, it avoided so many typical troupes like sexy girl fighting and ridiculous clothing, and delivered a film that both men and women could be proud of and enjoy! We want more!

This had the spirit of Star Wars all over it. I loved it, as I loved the original trilogy and the Force Awakens.
