I wanted to share my thoughts on #thekashmirfiles .It's prior to this day that I didn't knew who Kashmiri pandits were and what had happened with them and the pain that they have gone through. I didn't even knew what happened on 19 January 1990 until today. They were brutally murdered assassinated not only the adults but even the small children of about 4-5 years of age women's were being raped, pregnant women's were being shot in the head and whatnot. Words are not just enough to describe the events and to express the pain of what they had gone through. 19th January is observed as the Exodus day by the Kashmiri Hindus, Kashmiri pandits were told to either leave Kashmir, convert to Islam or be killed and those who had chosen to leave were told to leave the women's behind. This is only some part of the reality, we can't even imagine what phase they went through it's beyond our imagination. I just want to say that more movies should be made on realities like this so that the younger generation could know what happened in the past years the real incidents that took place, the pain of the people who had to leave their homes with just hand full of food in order to save themselves their families. thank you to Sir Vivek Agnihotri ji the cast and the Kashmiri pandits for putting this reality in front of us. I know a mere thank you is not enough. It feels like an understatement to me to call this reality a movie but my words are falling short. Once again thank you for telling the truth through this medium. I request you all to please watch the kashmir files at least once please.
