Great game. Although it doesn't stick with the actual story I feel like that makes it more interesting. I wouldn't feel like it would be worth its price if it was just a graphics update. The story was extremely engaging and it has its fair share of twists and goofy moments. The only qualms I have is the combat, it isn't as smooth as the previous title FFXV and at times can feel clunky and stiff as certain actions require you to sort of pause mid combat. But this is not to say the combat is bad but rather unpolished and can be improved on. It is still a great combat system in my opinion. Another issue I have is the hard mode. I get that its hard mode and that it is supposed to be challenging but why lock certain items behind hard mode. Some people, including myself, have other important things to do like work and all that stuff. The things locked behind hard mode made it so much more time consuming that i would have hoped. Nevertheless I loved the game and as a player who has managed to 100% the game (it just means to get all the trophies) I can confidently say that this game is worth the money and time spent on it and i cannot wait for the sequel.
