"We were this close to greatness." This line summarizes the movie, RK is amazing, you begin by sympathizing with the character, learn why he is the way he is; his love turns poisonous and kills everything around him, but all that works until the intermission, which climbs to a peak and then falls off, the action is bad, and could have been much better, the movies strong suit is the anti-hero, but beyond his family he never really gets to be the animal he is, RK's character in Rockstar was much better written, if one needs to compare. Overall, the movie has a few good twists and turns, but the center stage drama is uneven at best. The plot, the writers and the performances together could have been better, the long run time could have been used in a better way.
