There was six different 90s songs in the first 20 minutes. One of them got a sing-a-long in the girls locker room. All the Gen Z-ness cannot be hidden by the 90s era this show wants to portray. The show feels very uneven. Some good perfomances. But mostly bad, badly written. Weirdly directed. There’s like Bend It Like Beckham shots in the beginning juxtaposed with weird costumes worn by the Gen Z-ers. Just bad. Other weirds shows like Twin Peaks at least had a consistent style. This show is all over the place and simply bad. It’s too bad cause I really wanted to like it. Lots of good pieces made terrible by bad writing, bad acting, bad filming, bad directing. So sad
