Extremely overrated movie, my guess is most reviews are unauthentic. Ethan Hawke is totally wasted, I wonder why he did this movie. The story has no head or tail, just want you to believe everything they write. The kids definitely delivered a stellar performance. Weak plot and average writing ruined a potentially good movie.

The story has so many potholes that I can't believe the writers didn't even bother about it. Some parts of the story are really ridiculous like a 1000s of years advanced civilization doesn't even know the concept of a fairytale?? I mean seriously! The indian character is totally wasted and is just there for the sake of "inclusion" or to appease the Indian audience, everyone hates the Indian in the show....now where have I heard that before lol. They kill thousands of innocent people including women and children on the ship and don't even bat an eyelid! Seriously! How did those VR headsets come to Earth? I think the writers even don't know. Lol In summary, this had a lot of potential but the lazy writing and poor storyline make it a below average show. Watch it if you have time to waste.

Absolutely garbage show made for vanity, nothing else. Totally bad acting, Slow and boring. Wasted 2 hours of my life on two episodes.
