You guys need to give up the rights to NHL. It’s sad that I used to be a top 50-100 player in the prime for the game and now I have no desire to play a single period of gameplay anymore due to the embarrassing bugs (that sometimes doesn’t get fixed for months or the whole year), gameplay, and customization options for players. You’re ruining and embarrassing the sport to the point where I can’t play the game anymore. Bugs, for example, not having numbers on the back of my jersey or having the other teams jerseys colours, playing two separate games simultaneously with half my team playing in one game and the other players in another, menus, cutscenes etc, those or just the basic ones. I think the rights to this game need to be given to people who want to develop the game properly and not milk money from people with a “copy and paste” game (which somehow creates new bugs) every year who are actually passionate about the game and sport. It’s sad that I’ve been playing EASHL for a decade and it’s now gotten to the point where I refuse to play the game due to the ridiculous changes you’ve made to customization by rewarding terrible players with RNG traits to be better than the players with actual skill. What happened to the attributes and being able to tailor your player to exactly what you wanted? Now I have to rely on perks and traits? This isn’t Call of Duty. The fact I cannot even use my right stick to maneuver around a player due to my player going into a slap shot animation or shooting the puck away is extremely disappointing. Last game I was able to do every L1/LB deke but for some reason the input doesn’t worn half of the time. Now, players have been given the option to push one button to do a deke? What happened to the game being somewhat skill based, competitive and rewarding to good players? The new addition with the “Store” is interesting as well. We already pay $90 for a game that remains broken for the majority of the year, and now you’re asking for more money by using micro transactions for cosmetic/customization options? Apologies for the long rant, but this has been brewing in me for the past 3-4 years and I simply can’t watch the sport that I’ve loved my life get embarrassing treatment like this. NHL, it's time to let another developer take a shot a this sport, EA can’t handle it anymore.
