Disappointed as from build up thought this was going to be another good BBC adaption like I used to see on a Sunday teatime/evening as a child in the 70s/80s. I understand that we are all individuals & when we read a novel our interpretations can be different. However, to completely change the ending of a classical 19th century novel is wrong. If people just watch this version & don't bother to read the novel/ watch one of the older adaptations which are more faithful to the plot. Then you will have generations of people who think that this version is "the real story".
