Being an ardent follower of the likes of Child, Baldacci, Hurwitz etc, I am always a little reluctant to try new (to me) authors. I can honestly say that The Chemist is one of the best books I've ever read, so good in fact that I read it in one sitting. I simply couldn't put it down. I've found a new author to follow. I can recommend this book to anyone.
