This is one of my favorites.Such a beautiful movie....I love how Kathy Bates gets hooked on Ninny's past as told in her flashbacks and incorporates some of Idgies traits in her own life .....Tawanda..... I always thought Ninny was Idgie And this always weighed heavy on my mind when ever l see this movie and it's maybe 6 times l have watched ,Fried Green tomatoes..... But it's the ending where you do not see a grave for Idgie ...just her beloved friend's grave and a recently written note with ending Love,the Bee Charmer next to a jar of honey Cone on top of her headstone. This made me think Ninny was Idgie all along ....plus never seeing or hearing anything in this movie about Ninny until she got old and ended up in a Nursing home with Sipsy younger sister whom she took care of in her old age Mrs Otis after Sipsy past on.....Such heart warming movie ..
