Honestly hands down the worst marvel movie. It felt self-indulgent, corny and illogical. From the musical note fight scene, the incredibly incompetent “Illuminati”, the random introduction of demonic realm, the homage to the Carrie movie, to the constantly evolving logic of the movie. It truly felt like there was either not enough voices making the movie to prevent bad ideas or too many voices in the film each trying to toss in their own reference making a hodgepodge by the end. It was impossible to follow along with the why of the movie. Protecting the “child” was apparently the main aim of the film, who is honestly a grown woman, and yet if they’d sacrificed her in the beginning, they would have lost 2 lives and instead lost dozens including the entire superhero assemble of one of the universes. There was also the underlying idea that apparently all of Dr. Stranger’s happiness was riding on being in a relationship with Christine.
