Honestly, Marvel fans will know this movie had promised so much more, and instead of doing just that, they messed up the MCU miserably.
NWH was the best MCU movie yet (my opinion, of course) and then Dr. Strange 2 was just the complete opposite.
America Chavez and Wanda had more screen time than Dr. Strange!
America (no offense) was a lame excuse for a character. She's so weak! If she had powers like that, they could've done more justice to use them properly. I also did not appreciate her backstory. Not cool.
Something that bothered me was the dark, grim aspect. Ok, some of it looked cool, sure, but it felt more like a DC movie than a Marvel one. And the jokes? Not one of them made me laugh. Marvel's so famous for their one-liner jokes, in this movie they got so lazy with them.
All the redemptive build-up in WandaVision was for nothing. Why did they choose Wanda to become so evil so quickly? It was like nothing in her show even happened.
And all those theories about Mephisto? None of that in this movie! HUGE dissapointment.
Also, why didn't Wanda just ask America to take her to a Universe where her kids were orphans? Or was America too 'inexperienced' to do that?
And the cameos, for goodness sake! They did them no justice there. Captain Marvel was killed off so easily and Black Bolt...ugh, they killed him in an unfair move. He is one of the coolest characters and they did that to him? Not cool.
And why is it called Multiverse of Madness when they visited like 3? I was hoping to see a lot more, not just glimpses of them.
Whatever, I'll just erase the memory of this awful, poorly concieved movie.
