This book was not good. From the very beginning I was bothered by the style of writing- seemed very juvenile. The characters were insufferable and not believable. The main character was very annoying and couldn’t effectively communicate, and the antagonist was emotionally unstable in a way that was more irritating than intriguing. I hated every character, which makes it hard to enjoy the book. I enjoy good foreshadowing in a suspenseful genre, but this book had WAY too much foreshadowing and I found it unbearable. Almost every page consisted of foreshadowing, and at a certain point, it really just becomes annoying and a novice way of trying to grab the reader’s attention. I do not recommend this book to anyone who isn’t a teenage reader.
