Illumination has killed it again. Really fantastic movie that proves you don't need an over complicated premise to make a film fun. The characters are fantastic, they each have their own challenges to overcome that come about in an organic and wholesome way. Animation is beautiful, gags are funny, some pretty memorable scenes (especially the ones with the Salt Bae Frankenstein-Hipster Tat Chef). Great, great movie, watched it with my kids and brother and we had an awesome time!

My biggest gripe with the film is that it feels way too entirely long. The story is tragic and I feel like Scorsese made it as grueling if a watch as it was to highlight the ridiculous heartlessness that the Osage community were treated with. DiCaprio, Gladstone, Plemons, DeNiro, heck everyone in the film pretty much delivers in a big, big way. I feel like it could've been a solid 40 minutes shorter and just as effective. Liked it but couldn't wait for it to be over at times.
